Painter Will Showcase Watercolor Techniques


Ridge Art Association will host highly acclaimed painter John Howard. who will demonstrate his watercolor painting techniques from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. Sunday, Feb.9 at the West Room of the Ridge Park Field House, 9625 S. Longwood Drive,Chicago.  Howard teaches continuing education classes in watercolor, mural, and portrait painting at the Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills and several other organizations. Several of his paintings depicting local historical sights are on public display at the Oak View Center, in the permanent collection of the Oak Lawn Park District. His murals decorate several buildings, including O'Hare Hilton.
